Come to this month's luncheon. Speaker - Shelley Dombroski, Regional Director of the Alzheimer’s Association, Northern California.

Northern California and Northern Nevada Chapter’s North Bay area joined the Alzheimer’s Association in 2003.  She oversees the administration and management of the Alzheimer’s Association in Sonoma, Marin and Napa counties in support of the organization’s strategic plan, including funding, programs, events and staffing. She leads a staff and volunteer team that provides education, information, referral, care consultation and support services for families coping with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Shelley received a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal studies with a certificate in Gerontology from Sonoma State University.  She was the primary caregiver for her sister-in-law, who was diagnosed at the age of 53 with younger onset Alzheimer’s disease and passed away in 2009 after a nine-year battle with the disease.
