Come to this month's luncheon. Our speaker will be Daniel Steckline, County of Marin Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program. 

Dan is the program coordinator for Marin County’s Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program. Dan received his master’s degree in Gerontology from the University of Massachusetts, Boston with an emphasis on nursing home culture change and person-centered care. Dan began as a volunteer in the Marin County Ombudsman program in 2012 and became a staff member in 2014 and program coordinator in 2017. Dan is currently working on local and state initiatives to increase the practice of person-centered care by licensed long-term care communities. Dan has lived in San Rafael with his wife Sharon for the past 27 years and is enjoying being a Marin County employee.
